Your individual starting

Whether in the morning, at midday or in the evening: everyone gets to decide for themselves when the individual starting signal should be given. And there are no rules or regulations for your imagination when it comes to choosing the route. Speaking of “rules” however: On public roads, the rules of the road and traffic regulations must be observed. However, there is no speed limit, as we are not setting any time limits (neither up nor down). Don't forget your race number, which was included either by post in the premium package or by e-mail as print@home in the basic package. By the way: Be sure to greet anyone wearing a race number if you pass them on your way.

Upload your performance

Any device from any manufacturer can be used to track your activity. After finishing, you can upload your performance in a personal login area as a GPX file via drag-and-drop until April 12, 2021 (23:59 CET). The entry will then appear in the overall ranking of your selected discipline. You will receive a detailed e-mail about this procedure after April 6th. If you don't want to be listed in the ranking, simply don't upload your time and enjoy the sporty sunny weekend.

Distance and observe the hygiene rules

If you keep your distance and observe the hygiene rules, there is nothing to stop you from taking part in the VIRTUAL GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON with friends or team colleagues. Of course, friends are also allowed to stand along the course and cheer you on or provide you with food and drink. Maybe they will even snap a picture of you. In any case, we look forward to seeing photos of you with your personal course highlights, true to the event motto: From Berlin to the world - You are not alone! Please use #virtualberlinhalf for sharing comments and pictures.

See you in August

Those who have booked the Premium Package will be rewarded with a medal at the finish line. All participants will receive a certificate by e-mail after the event. However, this requires that you upload your GPS tracking to the website and thus appear in the ranking (see above). Whether it's a medal or a certificate, photos are also welcome under the hashtag #virtualberlinhalf. Finally, we would like to emphasise once again: Please observe the applicable distancing and hygiene rules for COVID-19 so that we can all meet again in good health on August 22, 2021 at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON.

The VIRTUAL Avon Women's Race Berlin

The registration for the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin is still open. Unfortunately, due to health concerns we all know too well, the classic Avon Women’s Race Berlin can currently not be planned as usual. Now strong women can run for strong women at the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin, while also supporting charity teams’ commitment to the Berlin Cancer Society. The virtual version of the Avon Women’s Race Berlin will take place between May 13 - 16, 2021. Two euros for every adult woman participating will be donated to the Berlin Cancer Society. Female athletes residing in Europe can also look forward to receiving a well-stocked care package. In addition to the original adidas event shirt and a medal, there are other surprises in store. Click to register. #virtualstrongwomen
