Registration for the adidas Runners City Night is open

If people associate one street with Berlin, it is mostly the Kurfürstendamm. The famous boulevard in Berlin’s Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district is lined with posh boutiques and traditional restaurants. Beginning in the 2021 winter season, Ku’damm will even have its own musical dedicated to it at the Theater des Westens. Once a year, the old riding trail of Prince Joachim II will not be dominated by tourists and the general public, but rather by athletes who will turn Ku’damm into their evening stage. We’re talking about the adidas Runners City Night and adidas Runners City Night Inline Skating. Look forward to other topics in our newsletter such as the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON or the SwimRun Rheinsberg.

Let’s celebrate the fastest night in Berlin together

With the appropriate safety and hygiene protocols, we are looking forward to celebrating the fastest night in Berlin on July 31, 2021. In both running and inline skating events, we will send participants off in the evening on 5km and 10km courses along Kurfürstendamm. You can even take on the challenge of a cross-discipline double start for the10k race, if you want. For those who are less performance-oriented, you can choose an untimed 5-kilometre-race. The important thing is being able to get out and be active together again. Nonetheless, we would like to make it clear that the health of all participants remains our top priority.

Also take part in the half distance in August

Kurfürstendamm is also one of the numerous route highlights during the race through the German capital at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON and the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON Inline Skating. If you want to take part in one of these events on August 22, you have to hurry, because the starting spots are getting scarce. Runners and inline skaters can register here.

The joy of competition away from the hustle and bustle and the asphalt

If you are looking for a little peace and quiet in the countryside as a break from the hustle and bustle of Kurfürstendamm, you should definitely check out the SwimRun in Rheinsberg. With its spacious competition area and special character, this event offers the best conditions for the safe and healthy implementation of a race in such difficult times. A SwimRun combines the sports of running and swimming. The SwimRun Rheinsberg takes place in and around the magnificent Grienericksee lake in the north of Brandenburg, where SwimRunners will find themselves right in their element. If you practise the sport of SwimRun, you really have to come to Rheinsberg. The number of starting spots for the various distances will be limited this year. Information about the SwimRun Rheinsberg can be found here.

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING

adidas informs:

We believe that through sports we have the power to change lives. By striving to expand the limits of human possibilities, to include and unite all people in sports. And to create a more sustainable world. We are rebellious optimists driven by action to shape a better future together. We see the world with possibilities where others only see the impossible. What´s your #ImpossibleIsNothing ?
