Proper nutrition is a part of success

Successfully crossing the finish line at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2021 where you can receive your well-deserved medal requires more than just following a training plan. Nutrition also plays a major role during training, just as it does during the actual marathon. During your long sessions, test what food and drink your body can tolerate. That way you won't get any nasty surprises during the race. There is still time to get that figured out.

2.

Registration is still possible

Starting spots for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON are still available through the official tour operators of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2021 as well through as our charity partner. Registration for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating is still open to all. In order to register for our events, you must first create a SCC-EVENTS user account. Information on how to create a user account can be found here.

READY TO RUN FOR JOY

BMW informs:

The past lockdown months have shown us even more how important running is for all of us. Running sometimes has been the only way out of our flats and therefore the ticket to some normalcy. It moved and united even more people than usual. We guess you can't wait to finally run together again as much as we can. Be curious how we want to share this joy of running with you in the coming weeks. Watch out for it on the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Instagram channel.

ADIZERO THE NEXT WTFAST

adidas informs:

adidas reveals the latest evolution of adizero footwear built for speed on the road. Led by the next iteration of adidas’ record-breaking elite performance shoe, the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2, and introducing the all-new ADIZERO BOSTON 10 and ADIZERO PRIME X. The running shoes will be worn by some of the world’s fastest this summer. The adizero collection has been developed using insight and data from some of the world’s fastest athletes. During training camps in Kenya, mechanical, biomechanical, and physiological data was captured from leading endurance athletes to inform the present and future of adidas racing shoes

As the loyal partner and co-sponsor of Germany’s classic marathon event, ERDINGER Alkoholfrei has a host of attractions in store: the isotonic thirst-quencher will once again be waiting at the finishing line for all skaters and runners taking part in the 47th BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Maurten has been used by the best runners in the world for years and has played a key role in Marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge’s fueling strategy since 2018.
Maurten uses hydrogel technology to create products with high concentrations of carbohydrates that are easier to tolerate, minimizing risk of stomach distress.
