SCC EVENTS wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year 2022

When the Krank family is trying to get their house looking festive at the last minute, when Kevin is left home alone while the family flies to France, and when the Grinch hatches his nasty plan, you know it is time to curl up on the couch with cookies and punch and enjoy some Christmas on TV. Now is the time to take it down a notch. Not only do your body and mind need some time off at the end of the year, but family and friends also need your attention. We athletes often forget about doing both of those things. So, relax now and rest in the company of your loved ones. In this spirit, SCC EVENTS wishes you and your families a happy holiday and a healthy start to 2022.

Review and outlook

If you are already looking for athletic goals for 2022, you might be interested in our current promotions for the Women's Race Berlin and the adidas Runner City Night. Check out the great deals. We would like to take this opportunity to reflect on and thank all our organisational colleagues for the open and valuable exchange this year. We are especially pleased to honoured by the interest group of race organisers, German Road Races, as "organiser of the year".

You can still secure a race entry for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2022 here

The results of the drawing for race entries for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2022 will be sent out starting in mid-January 2022. If you are not lucky enough to draw a starting spot, you still have the following options to get one. Our charities offer race entries together with a fundraising campaign. In addition, our cooperating tour operators still have free spots available for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Last but not least, you can still secure a race entry in combination with a premium running camp or one of our marathon training courses from our running experts. For years, these have offered the key to perfect preparation. By the way, here you will also find preparation courses for the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON.

Safe the date! Registration start for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inline Skating

On December 31, 2021 we will open the registration for the BMW BERLIN MARATHON Inline Skating on September 24, 2022. Get your race number for the season highlight for all inline skaters before the turn of the year and roll into the new year light and exhilarated. We are looking forward to seeing you! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, there you will be the first to know about the start of registration ...

The somewhat different triathlon

What do you think about the triathlon? This sport combines swimming, running and cycling in one race. Do you think that's a bit much for one event? Then split it up. Our suggestion: On June 26, 2022, you can swim at SwimRun Rheinsberg, the following week you can bike at VeloCity Berlin, and on July 30, 2022, you can complete a 10K in running shoes at the adidas Runners City Night. Now that's a challenge.

Run Rome The Marathon

Run Rome The Marathon informs:

100 days to go, are you ready to conquer Rome? The marathon is like a journey. You wait for it for a long time, you prepare for it, make sacrifices to get there in top physical condition, then you experience it, you run, struggle, laugh, cry, cross the finish line, ride drunk with adrenaline and in the end you return home with a feeling of melancholy because everything is “over already”. So the best way to overcome that melancholy is to book "the next trip". There are less than 100 days until Run Rome The Marathon 2022 and registration is open. Rome is calling: it is impossible to not answer the call!  Have you already signed up? REGISTER NOW: 'RUN' AND GET YOUR GIFT. Merry Christmas, runners! From December 22 to 26, Run Rome The Marathon is offering you a special gift: registration for the Rome marathon for only 69.00 Euros. How can you get this deal? Use the code: CHRISTMASMARATHON when you register.

It’s time for roasting almonds

No one should have to do without roasted almonds. They are an absolute classic, at least they are in Germany, so here is a recipe to make them at home. For enough for three people, you will need: about 100 g of sugar, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and 4 tablespoons of water. Put the mixture in a pan and let it boil for a few minutes. Then turn down the heat and add about 200 g of almonds without shell - preferably almonds with skin, as the sugar sticks better. Now let them simmer in the pan until the sugar caramelizes. Shortly before they reach the finish line, quickly mix the almond mixture with 2 packets of vanilla sugar (=16 g) and send it into the well-deserved recovery phase on a baking tray. There they can finally solidify, always leaving half an almond of distancing between them. You can snack with a clear conscience. Almonds provide fast energy, high-quality protein and important minerals for athletes. With these boosters in your pocket, the next workout will be a snap.
