Last Tips for VeloCity - The Power of Berlin.
|
The countdown is on! In a few days, VeloCity - The Power of Berlin. will get underway and bring
cycling back to the capital. Starting on Friday, July 1, the VeloCity Berlin EXPO will be offering
everything a cyclist’s heart desires. On Saturday, the youngsters will have a chance to roll down the boulevard Strasse des 17. Juni, before the starting signal is fired for the 60K and 90K races on
Sunday. Those late to the game still have the opportunity to register up to very end, Saturday,
July 2.

Race kits and late registration |
|
|
|
|
|
You will receive your race kits at the VeloCity Berlin EXPO on Strasse des 17. Juni between
Ebertstrasse and Yitzhak-Rabin-Strasse in the immediate vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate. Please note that you can only pick up your race kit in person upon presentation of your start pass and photo ID.
When:
Friday, July 1 from 2 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, July 2 from 10 am to 7 pm
Late registration:
Last-minute participants have the possibility to register online up to and including June 30. After that, late registrations will only be accepted on site during the race kit distribution on July 1 and 2, 2022.

Hot trends, the latest products and services from manufacturers and dealers - you will find everything concerning your favourite pastime at the VeloCity Berlin EXPO. From Friday to Sunday, the Strasse des 17. Juni will become a shopping and adventure arena for all two-wheel enthusiasts. And bargain hunters will also get their money's worth here.
Opening hours for the VeloCity Berlin EXPO:
Friday: 2 pm to 8 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday: 8 am to 4 pm

Kids & Youth: Cycling, playground and parcour |

Of course, the youngsters will also find lots to do at the big cycling race. On Saturday afternoon, July 2, starting at 2 p.m., children up to 12 years of age will have the Strasse des 17. Juni for their own races in the start/finish area. Late registration for the events, which will be staggered by age, is possible on site at VeloCity Berlin EXPO until shortly before the start. Participation fee: 5 Euro
These are the different events:
2-4 years: 100m
5-6 years: 300m
7-8 years: 1.3 km
9-10 years: 2.6 km
11-12 years: 3.9 km
Another highlight for the youngest guests is the Kinderland playground, where they will find fun and games like balancing, jumping or pedalo riding in the ADAC exercise course.
Opening hours:
Saturday, July 2, from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, July 3, from 10 am to 4 pm. Accompanied by
adults, the Kinderland can be used free of charge.

As there are no parking spaces available on site, we kindly ask you to use public transport. Our overview map shows you the different accesses to the start/finish area.
S-Bahn: to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) (S3/S5/S7/S9), Potsdamer Platz (S1/S2/S25),
Friedrichstrasse (S1/S2/S25/S5/S7/S9)
Underground: to Friedrichstrasse (U6), Potsdamer Platz (U2)
Regional train: Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) (RE1/RE2/RE7/RB14), Potsdamer Platz
(RE4/RE5) (each about 10- to 15-minute walk)
