In just over two weeks we will see you at the start of the BMW BERLIN MARATHON Inlineskating. Are you ready for your big day? To get in the right mood, we recommend the event information, which you can find here.
Our preparations are also in full swing to roll out the red carpet for our participants on September 24-25. For us, the red carpet means the Berlin asphalt, which will lead you through the capital to the finish behind the Brandenburg Gate. There you will not only be rewarded with pure happiness, but also with your medal, which you can get a peek at later in this newsletter.

Real gems: our medals this year |

|

|
|
For many years, it has been a tradition at the BMW BERLIN MARATHON Inlineskating to honour an outstanding athlete on the face of the medal. This year, the medal is once again dedicated to Bart Swings. The Belgian has won the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating seven times. At this year's Olympic Games in Beijing, he crowned his sporting career with gold in ice skating.

KidsSkating at the Brandenburg Gate |
|
|
|
|
|
KidsSkating is the place to be for all youth who want to really get moving. As part of the BMW BERLIN MARATHON inline skating, it's all happening on September 24 on the home stretch of the original course at the Brandenburg Gate. There will be competitions for kids up to the age of 13. And for those who don't yet feel confident on their skates, there will be caring support provided by our wheeled helpers if needed.
Venue: Straße des 17. Juni near Brandenburg Gate
Start time: September 24, 11:30 a.m.
Distance: 200 - 2.000 metres
Registration: until 11:00 a.m. at the venue

Bambini Run at BMW BERLIN-MARATHON EXPO |
|
|
|
|
|
The Bambini Run - presented by ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg offers children up to the age of ten a great opportunity to participate. Completely for fun, without any timekeeping.. And at the finish line, of course, everyone receives their well-deserved medal. Our mascot Fridolin Flink will also be there, who loves being surrounded by so many enthusiastic running children.
Venue: BMW BERLIN-MARATHON EXPO / Tempelhofer Feld.
Start time: September 24, 11:00 a.m.
Distance: 200-1000 metres
Registration: Registration is possible online.
The mini-MARATHON on September 24 will take schoolchildren on a 4.2195 km lap through the Tiergarten. The excitement grows on the original home stretch beyond the Brandenburg Gate. Here the applause roars and the legs seem to run on their own. Participation is possible both as a team with an unlimited number of students from one school and as an individual.

First-timers Esmee and Erik from Amsterdam |

Esmee (30) and Erik (31) from Amsterdam are excited about their upcoming adventure. This duo is about to skate the BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2022 for the first time this year. Esmee and Erik like a challenge and really feel like conquering this goal as a couple. In addition to their skate training the couple also works on their nutrition to get into shape and feel fresh at the start of the race. They're motivated to boost their confidence and work on their overall fitness. The BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2022 is a big goal, but approaching it in small training steps is making it doable. Esmee and Erik can’t wait to cross the start and the finish line of the largest inline marathon in the world. Keep an eye on the first-timers as they will roll over the finish line in Berlin on the 24th of September.

the stars of the scene. As always, one of the highlights will be presenting the winners of the
